The Salt Spring Centre School is a certified K-7 independent school delivering BC curriculum with additional focus on small class sizes, relationships, creative arts, social-emotional learning, problem-solving, self-expression, and exploratory outdoor play. Qualifications
Successful candidates will:
Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
Have interest and expertise in K-3 grade learning
Possess an understanding of and commitment to social-emotional learning and youth mental health
Actively and personally support a caring attitude towards the land and environment
Have training in primary education pedagogy with specific skills in teaching literacy and numeracy
Have experience working with neurodiversity
Be a team player
Be fluent in oral and written English
