Cosmetology Teacher
Full-time 100% Position – Term (ASAP – April 6, 2025)
Start Date: TBD
Reporting to the Principal, this instructor is required to provide students with classroom instruction, lab activities and contact with industry in the Hairstyling Program.
Specific duties shall be:
Plan and deliver theoretical and practical course specific content;
Conduct student assessment and counselling;
Perform related administrative responsibilities as required;
Participate on school committees and assist in school activities such as student orientation and graduation.
The candidate should have the following qualifications:
Certificate of qualification as a hairstylist
A minimum of 5 years experience as a hairstylist
Manitoba Vocational-Industrial Certificate required; those enrolled in the Vocational Teacher’s Training Program at Red River College may be considered.
