The Mission: Accounts Payable Clerk
– Rx Returns Reporting to the Supervisor
– Accounts Payable
– GFR, the Accounts Payable Returns Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of store returns, including statement reconciliation, collections, and deductions.

The incumbent works closely with the Merchandise/Operations Team, to deliver various reports to reduce risk or improve compliance.

Principal Responsibilities: Review and process all Specialty store keyed returns through the purchase order system for assigned vendors.

Process all Credits received from Vendors and follow-up on aged receivables to minimize any risk.

Support and guide stores to ensure maximum dollars are achieved for returns.

Work with Vendors and stores to resolve issues in a timely basis.

Process manual credit invoices not matched to a PO and resolve discrepancies Prepare reporting on returns by store for compliance and risk management Prepare ADHOC inquiry reporting on Returns for RSC.

Prepare General Ledger reconciliation for assigned accounts to ensure balance reconciles to subledgers or control accounts.

Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.

Required Skills 2-3-year College Diploma in Accounting 2 to 3 years previous accounting experience, Including Collections.

Good Knowledge of Accounting Policies and Practices Previous experience working in JD Edwards would be an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups etc.) Accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
