We have a constant flow of short and long-term roles for Supply Teachers across a wide range of schools and are currently recruiting for a cover in preparation for September.

Computer Science Teacher 4 days per week MPS (Main Pay Scale) / UPS (Upper Pay Scale) Outer London (minimum £29,915 to maximum £45,766) About the school Roman Catholic girls’ school Creates an inclusive Catholic community with mutual service, respect and love Encourages all students to have a positive impact on the world Celebrates and empowers women of the future Offers opportunities to all students on their individual journey, nurturing their own potential and strengths Requirements To be considered for the role of Computer Science Teacher you will: To Can plan and prepare lessons to a high standard, using a variety of delivery methods in order to facilitate student learning Can set and mark work, including homework in accordance with the school Marking and Feedback Policy Can create a supportive learning environment whereby all students have the opportunity to achieve their individual potential Is able to assess, record and report on students’ progress and attainment, whilst maintaining accurate and appropriate records Is confident in preparing students for examinations, both internal and external, including the recording of accurate data Can manage behaviour appropriately in line with the School Behaviour Policy Has high expectations from all students throughout lessons Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration Graduate Teachers and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa) Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree (QTS) Edwin Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
