Take your ambitions to next level As a consulting firm, Alithya undertakes a wide variety of technically challenging and interesting projects, and so your exact responsibilities will vary depending on the project to which you are assigned.

Our clients are typically from technology department with large firms, and each project is typically 6 months to 2 years in duration.

In between project assignments, you will work in our Toronto office, assisting with managing our internal new products and solutions.

You will report to the VP of the Financial Sector and be working with both client and/or Alithya employees to provide trustworthy consulting work.

We are looking to hire full time and on a permanent basis.

When it just clicks Does this sound like you?

5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role; 3 years experience with DevOps Practices in Azure; Experience with Release Tools (VSTS, Artifactory, Gitlab, Maven), configuration management (chef), monitoring, virtualization, and containerization (essential); Strong experience with the following (essential): clustering, Network Load Balancing, geographic redundancy, Fail Over Solutions, data backups, recovery and replication, monitoring and alerting, automating large-scale deployments, system administration, capacity planning, systems design and automation for distributed data systems, services and APIs; Experience in writing scripts that will fire off and orchestrate the complete deployments of DEV, QA and Production environments via tools such as Chef; Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment, configuration management, metrics and monitoring schemes, virtualization and cloud computing using Microsoft Azure; Able to write PowerShell scripting, use ARM template and provide technological solutions to business challenges and opportunities; Strong UNIX skills, including script development in Bash and Perl; Strong critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting and judgment skills; Thorough understanding of software development environment and best practices related to Build and Release; Able to work independently without supervision and produce quality results; During Covid-19 travel is limited but will resume to 10.0 % of the time; Languages required English: 4/4 31027 WHERE YOU NEED TO BE Life at Alithya 37.5 hours per week; Opportunities to develop and grow your career; Work with diverse technologies, projects, clients and sectors; Spend your days in a creative and innovative environment; Share experience and knowledge as part of an agile and dynamic team; A great harmony between work and personal life; Access to exciting educational opportunities (internal, conferences, events, courses, certifications, etc.); Personal recognition of your important professional contributions; Great cultural diversity across our teams.
