is currently hiring for a Director, Global Program Management to be located in Skillman, NJ, Switzerland, Singapore, Brazil, Canada and/or working remotely.

Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.

Position Overview The Director of Global Program Management Is part of the Global Integration Management Office (IMO) and is responsible for leading and executing business critical programs/projects and the associated teams in direct support of the Global Consumer Strategic and Operating Plans.

Typically leads multiple programs of high complexity and high business impact with a large degree of autonomy.

The person in the position will have frequent interaction with and provide updates to Global and Regional Senior Executives within the end-to-end Supply Chain and across the Consumer Segment.

The person in this position will manage multiple globally scoped project teams and may have project managers and/or contractors directly assigned to them based on program scope and complexity.

This person will also bring to the position knowledge of project / program management, end-to-end supply chain structure and process, financial and cost management practices, as well as the ability to lead, communicate within, and partner across, and throughout the Consumer Health organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide overall program/project delivery management and leadership to specific high priority, multi-regional, interdependent initiatives including business case development, schedule/scope/cost management, communications, resource management, alternatives analyses, project integration, critical path / proactive risk management and sub-team management.

• Directs project and program team activities to meet aligned objectives on time and within budget in a compliant and reliable manner while driving team and individual accountability.

• Develop, maintain and monitor global program plans and integrate/coordinate regional and local executions.

• Execute program tracking and reporting tools to ensure that the portfolio of projects and initiatives are proactively managed, have appropriate visibility at all organizational levels, and that clear communication of status is timely and transparent.

• Ensure that key program/project objectives are aligned to and then realized to the expectations of Senior Leadership of the Consumer Business.

Utilize process and result metrics throughout the duration of all programs and projects.

• Lead all programs/projects in accordance with standard Stage Gate Processes, the most current governance processes, our “1-touch” philosophy, an agile attitude, and all other standard practices and processes that are deployed.

• Demonstrate leadership, business acumen, and influence skills throughout the organization to drive delivery of all objectives of highly complex, global programs assigned.

Gain alignment for, and communicate any significant deviations to deliverables across the global, regional, and functional organizations.

Communicate appropriately and effectively at all levels.

Proactively identify risks and issues to stake-holders; lead development and delivery of mitigation and contingency plans.

• Ensure excellence in project execution through implementation of and modeling industry best practices and global project management capabilities including portfolio and project data integrity.

• Support project team members by eliminating execution barriers, raising issues as appropriate and engaging ultimate decision makers as quickly as possible.

• Ensure the program scheduling, execution and any potential adjustments are made to maximize the opportunity for globalization, speed to market, resource optimization, design to value, design for manufacturability, support of our sourcing strategy, cost optimization, and product complexity reduction.

• Provide overall project management leadership for Globally scoped New Product Development, New Product Introduction, Life Cycle Management, Quality & Compliance, and all other high priority/high complexity projects assigned through executive level global, regional, and functional governance/decision-making forums.

This includes clarifying and aligning on roles, responsibilities and accountabilities throughout the organizational and within project team structures.

• Identification and incorporation of process improvements to project/program and portfolio management in support of our enterprise maturity model adoption and establishment of the IMO/PMO organizational capability progression.

• Development of and timely, effective delivery of executive level communications as required.

• Ongoing proactive management of program interdependencies through close coordination with leaders of other strategic supply chain and business improvement initiatives.

• Synchronize aligned to functional and regional supply chain activities (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver) to ensure timing, sequencing, resource management and program commitments are optimally coordinated, communicated and executed.

• Lead all global and regionally assigned resources and any other direct reports including employees and contractors.

Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master Degree or MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience with cross-functional experience, for example, but not limited to R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing or Finance is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio /project management is required.

• Familiarity with portfolio management at a franchise / business unit level is required.

• Demonstrated success in the management of large, complex, highly interrelated programs / projects is required.

• Strong business and financial acumen is required.

• Demonstrated analytical skills including understanding of financial principles, data interpretation and how to leverage this knowledge to make sound business decisions and/or recommendations is required.

• Demonstrated experience using PPM tools to manage the project portfolio preferred.

• Experience in Process Excellence methodologies preferred.

• Ability to act as a change agent and adapt to changing business and organizational dynamics is required.

• Thorough knowledge of the consumer healthcare industry or relevant experience in industry preferred.

• Ability to collaborate, shape and influence key stakeholders and cross-functional leadership in a matrix organization is required.

• Ability to manage high levels of ambiguity and risk.

• PMP certification and /or other industry and project management certification is preferred.

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and facilitation skills are required.

• Leadership experience with collaborating, networking and influencing in a matrix organization is required.

• Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management and lead discussions without line authority to create alignment of senior cross-functional partners.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results.
