Salary: Market related Reference: STETPRESKB APPLY NOW Edwin Education is currently recruiting on behalf of our sister company Vision for Education for a English Teacher in Preston, United Kingdom and we welcome Australian and New Zealand trained teachers to apply.

About the role The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching English at Year 7 to Year 13.

The role is due to commence January 2023 to cover a resignation.

This is a full time position for the full academic year, with the potential to go permanent from September 2023.

Requirements To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will: Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (Year 7 to Year 9) and Key Stage 4 (Year 10 to Year 13) Be adaptable and flexible Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration Graduate Teachers and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa) Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
