Summary The Facilitator will be responsible for delivering a variety of LifeWorks by Morneau Shepell Workplace Learning Solutions (WLS) workshops to our clients and their employees, with the goal of guiding participants through a process/journey to the desired insights and end result.

Responsibilities: Deliver training workshops (½ day, full day sessions) focused on an array of workplace health and productivity related subjects, such as: workplace mental health, stress management, conflict resolution, and effective communication.

Skillfully adapt and manage time to meet the needs of the group Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for newly contracted network facilitators as required Succeeding in the Facilitator, WLS role will require the following core qualifications and skills: College or undergraduate degree in a related discipline (i.e.

psychology, social work, industrial relations, organizational behavior, human resources etc.) Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in organizational learning and development Certificate in Adult Training & Development is a strong asset Solid understanding and experience with adult learning principles and training techniques (i.e.

ice breakers, role playing, brainstorming or idea generation, scenario building, breakout groups etc.) Skilled in reading the underlying dynamics of the group and effectively managing expectations Ability to evoke participation in a group environment (effectively dealing with participants that arrive with barriers
– i.e.

confusion or adverse to the nature of the topic, feelings of insecurity based on ability or others in the room, fear of speaking or sharing ideas in front of others, afraid to see or hear the reaction of others in the room etc.) Superior communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Practical experience delivering soft skill-based training to adult learners in a variety of workplace settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong computer literacy Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset Job Grade: MS4 Fulfilling work that matters Morneau Shepell is in the business of helping organizations help their people and in the process, we strive to elevate ours.
