Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the educational needs of approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a full-time temporary Grade 2 French Immersion Teacher at Heritage Hills Elementary.
Heritage Hills Elementary serves approximately 490 students in kindergarten the Grade 6, with 25 teaching staff and nine support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.
Heritage Hills Elementary is a dual-track school offering programming in English and French Immersion. The school strives to help every child be a successful, self-motivated learner in a safe and caring school environment. The goal is to empower students to be lifelong learners in a changing world.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Excellent communication skills in both French and English
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
