This is a Contract position in Edmonton, AB posted March 12, 2025.

Edmonton Catholic Schools is accepting applications for a primary teacher (Grade 1 – 4) at Kisiko Awasis Kiskinahamawin. Kisiko Awasis Kishinahamawin is located in the Grave Flats area, in west-central Alberta, approximately 3.5 hours from Edmonton.This position is a temporary, full-time, 1.0 FTE position with an expected end date of January 01, 2025.

Edmonton Catholic Schools requiresall teachers (substitutes and contract teachers) to be Catholic unless specialized in the following areas:

  • Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)
  • Lived Indigenous Experiences
  • Languages(Cree, French, Spanish, and Ukrainian)
  • Music(Elementary and Secondary)
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics(Must be major)

Interested candidates that have a Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate are encouraged to apply. The following application documents are required:

  • Two (2) Most Recent Teaching Evaluations (Experienced Teachers: Contract Evaluations; New Teachers: Student Teacher Practicum Evaluations)
