That’s good news We are looking for a Project Manager – Manufacturing and Infrastructure for our Manitoba facilities.

We need a visionary and a natural leader to be responsible of our new engineering projects.

There is no doubt that there are great challenges awaiting you in our team OVERVIEW OF THE WORK: As a Project Manager – Manufacturing and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and supervising the delivery of projects while ensuring good cohesion with your work team.

Projects will involve manufacturing equipment retrofits, building retrofits, and installation of new equipment projects from initiation through to commissioning and turn-over to internal customers.

As a hands-on person, you will be required to be on the production floor helping your team getting equipment installed and/or repaired and running tests while using your advanced computer and management skills to ensure project deliverables are met.

In addition to actively participating in every step of the process, you will be the resource person during decision-making moments.

You will apply lean manufacturing concepts to ensure continuous improvement of Berger processes and to ensure Berger is at the leading edge of technological trends.

As part of your work, you will also have to travel to our various Manitoba facilities to support the installation of new equipment while making sure that occupational health and safety standards are met.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: You possess a mechanical engineering degree, or you are a certified engineering technologist, with 2-5 years experience working with manufacturing equipment and associated electronic controls.

Equivalent knowledge and experience will be considered.

With a keen eye for detail, you are highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills in addition to being a self-starter with a professional presence and strong leadership skills.
