Secondary school diploma or an attestation of studies with an equivalence in a related field.

French and English, spoken and written;
Have a sense of initiative and work rigor.

Relevant experience in a position with comparable skills would be an asset.


The base salary is set at $20/hour while offering the possibility of progressing in the salary scale as well as gaining experience within Cestar College


The candidate directs the overall operations of the Registrar’s office and the student records management programs. They ensure the proper functioning of the educational and administrative activities of a school, are responsible for organizing and directing the student admission and registration service and assumes responsibility for the management of files, the choice of courses, reports and diplomas and coordination of schedules. The candidate supervises the department’s staff, ensuring the quality of the services offered, and sees to the continuous improvement of the record keeping system. They inform students about the courses offered and the registration regulations and keeps the file of grades and credits obtained by each person up to date. They also perform statistical analysis and develop enrollment policies in collaboration with campus directors.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, plans and coordinates all activities related to the management of the student file, from the application for admission to graduation (certification). Establishes and controls the various processes relating to the management of the student file;
  • Collaborates in the implementation and updating of the computer programs required for the management of the student file and ensures the continuous improvement of work processes;
  • Guides the campus directors in the management of student files and admissions;
  • Is responsible for the application of the academic rules approved by the Commission of Studies and the Ministry of Education. Controls the progress of students in their study program;
