Senior High Math and Science Teacher 2024-25 School Year

St. Thomas More is recruiting for a Senior High Teacher starting August 28, 2024 . Recruitment is for Senior High Math & Science. Probationary contract with the possibility of continous if candidate is successful.

Course assignment includes courses in Secondary Math & Sciences Grades 9-12.

The teacher would teach a variety of math/science courses and create a quality learning environment for students throughout the province. Courses will include a wide variety of courses in the area of senior high academic Math and Science in grades 9-12 and potentially other courses depending on course enrollment and teachers' skill set.

The successful candidate ideally will have training, knowledge, and experience in secondary education and requires a high degree of technical proficiency in the use of educational technology providing education from a distance, an understanding of assessment for learning, inclusive education, Indigenous students and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Experience with PowerSchool would be an asset.

Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
