Melville Comprehensive School is looking to fill a continuing full-time Practical and Applied Arts position in the area of Welding for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. MCS is a Comprehensive High School offering a pure welding program from Grades 10-12. Course load includes: Welding 10, Welding 20, Welding 30.

The successful applicant will have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and educational background:

a background and strong foundation in mechanics and welding.

prior experience in program development, implementation and management

experience with community involvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent

Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate

Journeyman status in Welding or Mechanics will be considered an asset.

Experience in Machining or another PAA would be considered.
